Hospitality Assured was created for the industry, by the industry. The development of The Standard was undertaken in co-operation with the University of Surrey, who reviewed a range of practices across businesses in the service sector and designed a specification to incorporate worldwide excellence concepts. The Standard can be applied to any business.

Hospitality Assured is a Business-to-Business Standard and the process of achieving the Award is an indication of striving for world-class performance.
