Victory Services Club to hold exclusive event to showcase Carisbrooke Hall.

The Victory Services Club (VSC) will be holding an exclusive industry showcase to unveil the recently refurbished Carisbrooke Hall on Thursday 18th January 2018.

The Carisbrooke Hall has recently undergone a major £1 million refurbishment, and is the largest events space at the venue with a capacity for 300 guests. The showcase will encompass a drinks reception with canapes followed by a three course gala dinner with a menu created by executive chef Paul Mattocks who is chairman of the League of Club Chefs. The evening’s entertainment will be provided by a live military band.

Air Commodore Nigel Beet CBE CEO of the VSC said: “The Carisbrooke Hall is now a stunning event space with state of the art technology. The Hall can cater for a huge variety of events. We look forward to welcoming our clients, event organisers and journalists to our exclusive event.”

The décor used in the newly refurbished Carisbrooke Hall is themed around the popular Art Deco style. This classical theme is focused on highly stylised natural, geometric forms and ornaments, with strong symmetry. Specialist Hospitality Designers, were commissioned to lead the design of the room. They created a beautiful reflection of the Art Deco era, with an essence of sophistication evident in the intricate details including the polished chrome bespoke light fixtures and chandeliers and the new wall panelling with off-black mouldings, which complete the theme of the event space. The Art Deco theme overflows into the bar with a limestone-effect floor with contrasted dark inset border to the perimeter, and the upholstery to the refurbished banquette seating brings in black and ivory geometric deco-inspired patterns.

The extensive refurbishment saw a large investment in a number of technical installations in the Hall designed to offer clients smart control over audio, visual and presentation devices which work together to integrate digital and analogue AV signals with streaming on one platform, simplifying the control process for event organisers. A state of the art comfort heating, cooling and air handling system has been installed.

Event organisers and venue finders are invited to register their interest in attending by 8th November, places are limited, so if successful, a formal invite will be issued in November.
